Our Story
It started with a passion — and a printer.
We’re a family of four — two parents and two kids — big fans of Japanese anime, manga, and puzzles. When we picked up 3D printing in early 2025, what started as weekend experiments quickly turned into something we wanted to share with the world. EastBlue PrintWorks launched in March 2026 to do exactly that.
Today, we print and hand-finish Monster Ball collectibles from our small workshop in Boston. Our Monster Ball designs come from the talented team at N3D, while we’re also learning to create original designs every day. Every piece is printed on Bambu Lab printers using premium PLA filament, then carefully cleaned, assembled, and quality-checked before it ships to you.
Our goal isn’t to build a big business — it’s to keep the hobby alive and create something meaningful together. Every order helps us grow our skills, invest in new prints, and bring the joy of making things to our kids and our community. We even use the process to teach our kids real craftsmanship — skills they’ll carry with them long after the last print cools.

3D printed materials always show signs of imperfection, but we take great care with every piece as if it were for our own collection.
Quality Materials
We use only Bambu Lab filament with our premium Bambu printers to ensure clean, consistent results.
Customizable
Add an optional mechanical click to every medium-sized Monster Ball to make it a fidget, or print a large version.
Made in USA
We sell and ship within the US only. All orders are made to order and ship from the Boston, MA region.
Expectations
Shipping & Turnaround
Each piece is made to order and typically ships within 3–5 business days. We ship Monday through Friday from the Boston, MA region.
We’re a small family business, and while we do our best to meet the 3–5 business day turnaround, holidays and personal commitments can occasionally add a small delay. We’ll always do our best to deliver as quickly as possible, and we’ll reach out to let you know if there’s any change to your expected delivery.
Large Monster Ball orders may take 5–8 business days due to the increased size and print time.
There may also be periods when we close the store temporarily for vacation. When that happens, all existing orders will be fully processed and shipped before the break begins.
What to Expect
Every piece is 3D printed and hand-finished — here are a few things to keep in mind.
Colors May Vary
Slight color differences from photos are normal due to screens and lighting.
3D Print Character
Minor layer lines and marks are normal — that’s the charm of a real 3D print.
Display Collectible
Balls don’t open. Optional Clicker makes it a fidget. Accessories are fragile — handle with care.
Keep Cool & Shaded
Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources — PLA can fade or soften. Indirect daylight is fine.
Easy to Fix
Parts are glued together. If something comes loose, a drop of super glue fixes it right up.
Not a Toy
Not suitable for children under 6. Small parts may be a choking hazard.
